Pennsylvania cabinet conversion

The deadline passed.
Put idle cabinets back to work.

Pennsylvania skill-game enforcement is now in effect. If you own compatible cabinets that are unplugged, off the floor or sitting in storage, Badline can evaluate them for conversion into dedicated amusement-only arcade systems—without wagering, cash prizes or payouts.

  • Reuse compatible hardware you already own
  • Replace the former skill-game experience and branding
  • Return the cabinet to productive amusement use

Pennsylvania enforcement is now active

The October 14 deadline has passed.

On October 14, 2026, Pennsylvania State Police announced that enforcement efforts had begun after the compliance deadline expired. PSP says unauthorized skill-game devices outside businesses licensed by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board are subject to criminal prosecution and immediate seizure. The June 15 Supreme Court decision and the official enforcement timeline remain documented below.

The Badline conversion

The cabinet stays.
The purpose changes.

Instead of abandoning useful equipment, Badline evaluates the installed Pennsylvania skill machine and builds a dedicated arcade configuration around the compatible hardware.

Cabinet eligibility: Conversions are available only for cabinets the customer owns outright and is authorized to modify.

Preserve what still works

Evaluate the cabinet, touchscreen, computer, audio, power and controls for continued use.

Replace the operating experience

Install Badline’s proprietary arcade environment and make the former skill-game operation inaccessible while converted.

Make the new use unmistakable

Apply Badline arcade graphics and clear amusement-only identification to the converted cabinet.

Keep the floor space productive

Offer paid amusement play and other venue uses where permitted, without cash prizes or payouts.

Cabinet format examples

One arcade system. Adaptable across cabinet formats.

These are three example configurations. Badline can evaluate additional owner-owned compatible cabinet formats for conversion.

Where the hardware allows, the conversion minimizes permanent changes. A return to a prior configuration would require a future lawful basis, the equipment owner’s authorization and qualified service work.
